Ian Advincula

Ian Advincula has extensive experience in engineering and automation within the life sciences and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as Associate Director of Automation Service Engineering at Guardant Health since May 2017, Ian has progressed through various roles including Senior Manager and Manager in the same department. Prior to Guardant Health, Ian worked as Principal Engineer in BioSurgery Manufacturing at Baxter International Inc. and held positions at Fluidigm Corporation, Genomic Health, Illumina, Onanon Inc., and SonicWALL, focusing on service support, quality assurance, and manufacturing processes. Ian holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology, specializing in Manufacturing Systems and Quality, along with a Minor in Business Management and Administration from San José State University.
