Kun Zhang

Kun Zhang currently serves as the Associate Director of Software Development at Guardant Health since April 2022. Prior experience includes a significant role at ViewRay, Inc. as Director of Software Engineering, where responsibilities encompassed leading a multi-regional software engineering organization and overseeing software engineering activities in a regulated environment. Prior positions at ViewRay involved managerial and engineering roles focusing on team leadership, product strategy, and software development roadmap planning. Kun Zhang's career began at Accuray, contributing to the development of treatment planning system software, and included a research assistant position at the University of Iowa, supporting funding applications in the Department of Radiology. Academically, Kun Zhang holds a Master of Engineering in Biomedical from both the University of Iowa and Southeast University, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical from Southeast University.
