Michael Bell

Michael Bell is the current Chief Financial Officer at Guardant Health. Prior to this, they held the same position at CareDx, Inc. from April 2017 to December 2020. Before that, they were the Chief Financial Officer & SVP at Singulex from January 2012 to December 2016.

Bell has extensive experience in finance, having also served as the Chief Financial Officer for Novartis' Diagnostics division from January 2006 to December 2012, as well as Director of Finance for Chiron Corporation from January 2005 to December 2006. Michael began their career in finance as an Auditor for Ernst & Young from January 1993 to December 1997, before being promoted to Senior Manager from January 2001 to December 2005.

Michael Bell completed a BSc in Mathematics & Computing at the University of Leicester. Michael then went on to achieve certification as a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) from the ICAEW.

Their manager is Helmy Eltoukhy, Co-CEO. They are on a team with Daniel Simon - SVP, Biopharma Business Development, Michael Wiley - Head of Corporate Affairs, and Chris Freeman - Chief Commercial Officer.
