Josh Freedman

Josh Freedman is a legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and capital markets. Currently serving as Legal Counsel at Guardian Capital Group since May 2021, Freedman has previously held positions as a Corporate Associate at DLA Piper and as an Associate in Capital Markets at McMillan LLP, where a diverse range of legal practice was honed. Freedman began an academic journey at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, contributing to research and scholarship as a Research Assistant, and has a foundational background in mentorship and program development from an internship at UJA Genesis. Freedman's educational credentials include a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Queen's University.
