Ryan S. Northington

Mr. Northington is a partner of Guardian and shares responsibilities for all major operational functions including sourcing, underwriting and governance of existing portfolio companies. Ryan joined Guardian in 2018 and is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee and is on the board of Tactical Medical Solutions, Inc., Western Shelter Systems, and Flat River Group.

Most recently, Ryan was the Chief Financial Officer of SupplyOne, Inc., a national provider of packaging products and services, where he had enterprise-wide responsibility for finance, accounting, human resources, administration, and corporate development/M&A. Prior to his four-year tenure at SupplyOne, Ryan was a Partner with MVP Capital Partners, an operationally-focused middle market private equity fund based in Radnor, PA. Across his private equity and operating executive experience, Ryan has led or managed more than 25 buyout transactions.

Earlier in his career, Ryan was the Chief Operating Officer for a knowledge management software start-up; was Vice President, Strategic Alliances and served as head of business development at a global sports media and technology company; and was Director of Product Marketing for a supply chain software company.

Ryan earned his BA in history from Davidson College, where he was a four-year letterman on the men’s soccer team.
