Dr Peter O'Connell

Dr Peter O'Connell has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Dr Peter began their career as an Occupational Health Physician at Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in 2000 and later became an Honorary Consultant in Emergency Medicine at the NHS from 2003 to 2012. In 1996, Dr O'Connell joined Zurich Insurance as the Chief Medical Officer, a role they held for an unspecified period. Dr Peter then served as the Chief Medical Officer at Guardian Financial Services from 2019 and currently holds the same position at SS&C Financial Services International Limited since 2021. Additionally, Dr O'Connell has been working as a Director at Company Medical Advisers Ltd since 2011, where they specialize in managing disability claims and providing expert advice to underwriters and claims assessors.
