Alan Sadler FCA has a diverse work experience spanning over several positions and companies. Alan started their career as an Audit Supervisor at Pannell Kerr Forster (PKF) and later moved on to become a Financial Controller at Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM). At LGIM, they played a key role in managing teams and overseeing various financial and reporting functions. After that, they joined HERALD INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT LIMITED as a Financial Controller, where they successfully managed outsourced back-office operations and assisted in launching new investment products.

Alan then worked as a Director at PKF Management Consultants, where they provided financial and commercial support in waste management and public-private partnership projects. Alan also had a role as a Project Director at Local Partnerships LLP, where they contributed to the development of a national team for energy-saving projects.

In 2014, Alan joined ANSA Merchant Bank as a Finance Director, overseeing operations and IT departments, and leading audit response efforts. Alan later moved on to Guardian Group, where they held multiple senior positions. As the Vice President Finance, they managed the finance department of Guardian Life of The Caribbean Limited, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and optimizing investment strategies. Alan also served as the Group Vice President - Insurance Operations, overseeing technology, data, and innovation teams. Currently, they hold the position of President at Guardian Shared Services Limited, where they focus on standardizing and digitizing operations across the group.

Throughout their career, Alan has demonstrated expertise in financial management, operations, technology, and project management.

Alan Sadler FCA completed a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy at the University of Kent from 1983 to 1986. Alan then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General at Cranfield School of Management from 2001 to 2002. In addition to their educational background, Alan Sadler FCA obtained a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) certification from the INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS IN ENGLAND AND WALES in September 1989.
