Alex Bergmann

Alex Bergmann serves as the Chief of Staff to the Chief Investment Officer at Guardian Life since January 2021. Previously, at AIG, Bergmann held multiple roles including Deputy Chief of Staff to the CEO, where responsibilities involved preparing the CEO for key stakeholder meetings and public engagements, as well as serving as Senior Finance Director and Senior Director of Financial Analytics. Alex’s consulting background includes advising on financial analysis, mergers and acquisitions, and valuations for various companies in the insurance sector. Prior experience includes positions at Fisher Capital Corp., JPMorgan Securities, Unilever, Creative Good, and the Boston Consulting Group. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Data Science from Northwestern University, an MBA in Finance and Strategy from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management, and a BA in International Relations and Modern Languages from Bucknell University.
