William Lee

William Lee has extensive experience in portfolio management, fixed income trading, and risk analysis, currently serving as Generalist Portfolio Manager and Head of Municipal Bonds at Guardian Life since 2003. Over the years, William has managed multiple billion-dollar portfolios, including a $3B portfolio of municipals and a $4B fixed income asset portfolio. Previous roles at Guardian Life included Structured Investments Trader and Convertible Bonds Portfolio Manager, where noteworthy achievements include outperforming the Barclays Convertible Index. Prior experience at AllianceBernstein involved managing fixed income portfolios and excelling in cash management and mortgage transactions. William's foundational experience began as a Performance Analyst at J&W Seligman and as a civilian Engineer with the Department of the Army. William holds an MBA in Finance and dual Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, along with a CFA designation.
