Adam Morton

Adam Morton serves as the Climate and Environment Editor for Guardian Australia since June 2019, managing a team focused on the climate crisis and environmental reporting while writing an opinion column titled "Clear Air." Prior to this role, Adam operated as a freelance journalist, editor, and podcast host from June 2017 to June 2019, contributing to notable outlets such as Nature, The Guardian, and the BBC, and hosting the podcast series "Rewired: The Innovators." Adam's extensive experience also includes a 12-year tenure at The Age, where various roles encompassed senior writer and environment editor, along with earlier reporting positions at Australian Associated Press and The Warrnambool Standard. Adam holds a Bachelor of Science with honors in Psychology and Zoology from the University of Tasmania.
