Evelyn Polacek Kery

Evelyn Polacek Kery serves as an Assistant Production Editor for The Guardian's Feast app and has held various editorial roles, including Deputy Production Editor for the Editions app, where leadership of a team of subeditors and curation of content were key responsibilities. In academia, Evelyn teaches journalism courses at the University of West London and Middlesex University, covering topics such as Digital and Online Journalism, Media Ethics, and Journalism Skills. A co-founder of the V4 UK Platform, Evelyn also has extensive experience in journalism and editorial positions, including contributions to Euron magazine and roles at FutureRising and Odviati. Evelyn holds a PhD in Social Work from the University of Sussex, a Master’s in Investigative Journalism from City St George’s, University of London, and a Bachelor’s in Journalism and Media from Middlesex University.
