Helen Newton

Helen Newton is an experienced professional in product strategy and management, currently serving as the Interim Director of Product Strategy and Operations at The Guardian since May 2020, while also holding the position of Director for Guardian Jobs. Prior to this, Helen founded Elenien Limited, a business and product management consultancy with clients such as Guardian News and Media. A diverse career includes significant roles at Channel 4 from 2006 to 2015, where responsibilities ranged from Product Manager for 4oD to Business Manager for Audience Technologies and Insight. Earlier experience includes roles at Reed Exhibitions and BUPA, complemented by a BSc (1st Class Hons) in Business Information Systems from Sheffield Hallam University. Helen took a career break from April 2015 to March 2020, during which time abroad in Cyprus was spent.
