Iman Amrani is a seasoned video journalist with a robust background in both writing and visual storytelling at The Guardian since August 2014. Notable achievements include winning an award from the Association of International Broadcasters for a report from Molenbeek post-Brussels attacks in 2016 and serving as Assistant Producer for a documentary that won the SEJ Award for Outstanding In-Depth Reporting. Additionally, Iman has experience as a researcher, providing media training in The Gambia and Kenya and contributing to a project that earned the British Media Award for best Editorial Campaign in 2015. Prior experience includes teaching English at the British Council in Colombia and volunteering as an English teacher in Haiti, where Iman also provided translation and mediation during the aftermath of the Haitian Earthquake. Iman holds a degree from the University of Leeds, completed in 2014.
