Lauren Cochrane is a seasoned fashion writer and editor with extensive experience in various prominent roles within the industry. Currently serving as a Senior Writer at Guardian News & Media since July 2013, Lauren contributes to a wide range of fashion content and regularly attends catwalk shows, emphasizing fashion's role in cultural discussions. Lauren also acted as Editor-in-Chief for The Fashion, overseeing concept development and logistics for the magazine. Additionally, Lauren has worked as a freelance contributor for prestigious publications including ELLE and The Financial Times while also holding a position as Associate Lecturer at Central Saint Martins, where a focus is placed on fashion journalism. Previous roles include Editorial Consultant for WHISTLES and Editor of 214 Magazine at Topshop, alongside stints at Vogue and Telegraph Media Group. Educated at London College of Fashion and Queen Mary University of London, Lauren holds Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Fashion Studies and English Literature, respectively.
