Oliver Holmes

Oliver Holmes is an accomplished writer and editor with extensive experience in international journalism. Since May 2015, Oliver has been affiliated with The Guardian, serving on the international desk with roles including Jerusalem Correspondent and Southeast Asia Correspondent, covering a diverse range of topics such as news, politics, technology, arts, culture, and travel in Southeast Asia. Prior to this, Oliver worked as a Correspondent for Thomson Reuters from June 2011 to May 2015, reporting on conflicts and events across the Levant, including Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Libya, and Egypt. Earlier experience includes a position as a Freelance Writer for TIME from October 2009 to June 2011, contributing articles to various prominent publications while also producing and editing multimedia content.
