Paul Harris

Paul Harris is an experienced journalist and editor currently serving as Deputy Editor (News) at Guardian US since April 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing an editorial operation and managing a diverse team of reporters. Prior to this role, Paul was the Head of the News Team at Devex, leading a global editorial operation focused on the aid and development sector from September 2016 to April 2018. Paul has also held significant positions as Senior Executive Producer for Al Jazeera America Digital, US Correspondent for The Guardian and The Observer, and East Africa Correspondent for The Daily Telegraph. Paul’s career in journalism began with roles at the Associated Press and Thomson Reuters, complemented by academic credentials from the University of Cambridge and City St George’s, University of London.
