Scarlet Pestell

Scarlet Pestell is an experienced video producer currently working at The Guardian since July 2021. Prior to this role, Scarlet held positions at PinkNews, including Senior Video Producer and Junior Producer, producing content for various social media platforms. Additional experience includes freelance transcribing for October Films, interning as a video editor at Press Association and PinkNews, and previous roles in journalism, radio hosting, and account management internships. Scarlet holds a Master's degree in TV Journalism from City St George’s, University of London, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Birmingham.
