Asha Javeed

Asha Javeed is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in investigative reporting and editorial leadership. Currently serving as Lead Editor of Investigations at Guardian Media Limited since June 2023, Asha previously held the position of Senior Multimedia Investigative Journalist at Caribbean Communications Network from March 2012 to March 2023. Asha also contributed to the Media Association of Trinidad and Tobago as Vice President in late 2021 and worked as Associate Editor at Business Guardian from August 2010 to March 2012. Earlier career experiences include Senior Business Journalist at Caribbean New Media Group and Reporter at Trinidad Guardian Newspapers. Asha holds a Masters degree in Mass Communications from the University of Leicester, completed in 2009, and completed secondary education at Holy Faith Convent, Couva.
