Julie Sullivan

Director, Clinical Trials Project Management at Guardian Research Network

Julie Sullivan has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over multiple industries. Their most recent role is as the Director of Clinical Trials Project Management at Guardian Research Network, where they are responsible for managing several oncology therapeutic and diagnostic clinical trials across multiple partner hospital sites in the US. Their responsibilities include overseeing all site/GRN trial startup processes, contracting and budget negotiations, regulatory/IRB initiation and updates, study site enrollment and recruitment processes, study protocol changes and procedures, and study financial management.

Before joining Guardian Research Network, Julie served as a Clinical Trials Project Manager II at the same company and as a Project Manager in Clinical Operations. Prior to their work in the healthcare industry, Julie worked at DLL as a Project Manager in Operations, leading an initiative to build an in-depth analysis of the company's products, services, and processes. Julie also developed a Product & Services Catalog for the US market.

Julie's previous experience includes working as a consultant to DLL at TransparenC, Inc., where they managed process and continuous improvement activities within the Operations organization. Julie also built and managed the Operations Project Portfolio Status Report used to provide progress updates to senior management. At ARAMARK Healthcare, Julie served as a consultant and founding member of the Healthcare Strategic Program Management Office, where they defined and implemented strategic initiatives and provided project management consulting for process improvement projects.

Julie also has experience as a Project Manager in Product Lab Testing at Professional Testing (EMI), Inc., where they successfully managed over 900 projects per year and introduced strategic project management processes. Julie worked as a Project Manager and Policy Support Analyst to the Federal Government at EDS Corporation, collaborating with cross-agency teams to develop strategic initiatives and improve critical functions.

During their tenure as a Consultant and Government Analyst to NASA at the Center for Systems Management, Julie developed and managed internal reporting procedures, planned conferences and workshops, and managed internal and external relationships. Julie also worked as a Project Manager in PLM & Engineering at GE Power & Water, where they directed the implementation of functional tools and led a cross-functional team.

Julie's early experience includes working as a Project Coordinator and Software Implementation Consultant at Datastream Systems, where they coordinated the administration of CMMS projects and implemented CMM systems at customer locations. Julie also served as an Industrial Engineering Manager at Milliken & Company, managing operating costs and implementing cost reduction and process improvement projects.

Julie Sullivan attended Dalton State College from 1989 to 1991, where they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration. Julie then went on to Southern Polytechnic State University from 1991 to 1995, completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering Technology. During their time at Southern Polytechnic State University, they also pursued a second Bachelor of Science degree in Textile Engineering Technology.
