Kathleen Oates

Kathleen Oates has a diverse background in the healthcare industry. Kathleen began their career as a Make-up consultant at Mary Kay Inc. in 1993. From 2008 to 2016, they worked as a Medical assistant/referral/precertification coordinator at NORWICH GI ASSOCIATES, P.C., where they efficiently handled a high volume of calls, organized supplies, and provided support to patients during exams. At the Center for Digestive Health in 2017, Kathleen served as a Medical Assistant/precertification coordinator, managing medical records, authorizations, and supplies. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Medical Assistant at Gastroenterology consultants of Central Fl, where they played a critical role in patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining records. Kathleen then joined Care Access in 2020, where they held various roles, including Travel Clinical Research Coordinator, Patient Access Liaison, and Decentralized Travel Clinical Research Coordinator. In these positions, they oversaw all aspects of clinical research studies, recruited participants, ensured protocol adherence, and provided ongoing support to patients.
