Aaron Leonard

Aaron Leonard is an accomplished organizational leader with extensive experience in both military and non-profit sectors. Currently serving as the Program Executive Director at Guardian Revival since March 2021, Leonard leads a team focused on enhancing the mental health and well-being of veterans and first responders through structured outdoor programs. Previously, Leonard held several key positions at the Sierra Club, including Campaign Manager for Military Outdoors, advocating for policies that enable military families to engage with nature. Leonard's background includes roles as Executive Director at Project Rebirth, Field Artillery Officer in the US Army, and firefighter with the Manhattan Fire Department. Leonard's academic qualifications comprise a Master of Arts in Outdoor Education and Leadership from Prescott College, a Master of Arts in Communication and Leadership from Park University, and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Sciences from Kansas State University.
