Norberto Cordero Jr.

Norberto Cordero Jr. has extensive work experience in the security and construction industries. Norberto began their career as a Security Guard at Beau Dietl & Associates in 2014, where they later served as a Security/Concierge Supervisor. Norberto then worked as a Security Guard at Arkon Security Group LLC in 2019, maintaining a safe environment in a gated community. From 2019 to 2020, they worked at Forrest Solutions as a Security Guard/Concierge and later as a Security/Concierge Supervisor. In 2020, they joined Guardian Service Industries, Inc. as a Security Guard and quickly advanced to the roles of Site Supervisor, Field Supervisor, and NY Area Manager. Currently, they hold the position of NY Lead Area Manager for Guardian Security Service Inc., overseeing all security and concierge accounts in New York. Prior to their security career, Norberto worked as a Journeyman Laborer/Foreman at Excavators Union Local 731 from 2003 to 2019 and as a Laborer Foreman at Conway Marine Construction from 2016 to 2018.

Norberto Cordero Jr. completed their high school education at William E. Grady High School, where they obtained a High School Diploma in Building Construction Technology in the years 1998 to 2003. Later, in 2015, they attended Borough of Manhattan Community College and earned an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration. In addition to their formal education, Norberto obtained several certifications, including F-01 Citywide fire guard for impairment, F-04 Temporary indoor/outdoor place of assembly safety personnel, S-95 Supervision of fire alarm system & other related systems, 32-Hour Rigging Supervisor, 30-hour Construction Safety & Health, Biological Incidents Awareness (Awareness Level), 10-hour Construction Safety & Health, Security Officer (Unarmed), and 4-hour Supported Scaffold User.
