Avihay Kain

Avihay Kain has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles.

Avihay started their career in 2004 as a PC Guy in the IDF, where they worked until 2009. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Freelance Web Developer, specializing in developing Facebook applications, CMS plugins, and working with XAMP.

In 2012, Avihay joined a company listed as "\u00af\\_(\u30c4)_/\u00af" as a Security Researcher & Software Developer. Avihay was involved in OO development and worked with languages such as C, C++, C#, and Python. This position lasted until 2015.

From 2015 to 2017, Avihay worked at Indegy, initially as a Senior Software Developer and later as a Development Team Lead. Avihay contributed to the architecture, design, and development of an early-stage ICS security product, along with security research and reverse engineering of ICS software and protocols. Additionally, they played a vital role in the bootstrapping of the company, handling DevOps, CI/CD, and internal tooling.

In 2017, Avihay joined Arpeely as a Senior Software Developer. Avihay was part of the company's first core R&D team and focused on backend development for Arpeely's RTB engine and infrastructure. Avihay also played a significant role in bootstrapping the company's early-stage infrastructure, including DevOps, CI/CD, and internal tooling. Avihay worked at Arpeely until November 2018.

Avihay's most recent position is Vice President of R&D at Guardio, a role they have held since January 2023. Before that, they served as the Tech Lead & Founding Member at Guardio from November 2018.

Throughout their career, Avihay has gained experience in various technical areas, including web development, security research, software development, and DevOps.
