Kirill Zats

Kirill Zats has extensive work experience in the field of engineering, with a focus on FPGA development. Kirill currently works as an FPGA Engineer at GuardKnox since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at OKTET Labs from 2016 to 2022 as a Software Engineer, where they contributed to the development of a chip testing system for Solarflare NICs and Xilinx and AMD SmartNICs.

Before joining OKTET Labs, Kirill worked at OOO STC from 2014 to 2016 as an FPGA Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for the development of a signal analyzer and retransmitter device, where they implemented various FPGA functionalities and collaborated on code development for the DSP processor.

From 2013 to 2014, Kirill was an FPGA Engineer at the Institute of computer security of Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation. Kirill'sresponsibilities included writing Verilog blocks for a video compression and transmission system.

Earlier in their career, Kirill worked as a System Administrator and an Intern at Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace and Instrumentation from 2009 to 2013. Kirill maintained the network and workstations, installed software, and deployed new workstations. Additionally, they worked as an engineer at JSC "Concern "Granit-Electron" from 2012 to 2013.

In 2012, Kirill worked as an engineer at JSC “MDB “Compas”, where they contributed to the development of a remote robot control system. Kirill wrote programs, participated in creating communication protocols and mathematical models, and conducted field testing.
