Stefan Streichsbier

Stefan Streichsbier has extensive experience in the technology and security sector. Stefan began their career in 2001 as an IT Consultant for Figuli Consulting. In 2004, they took on the role of IT Security Consultant for HCS Health Communication Service GmbH, where they were responsible for internal analysis of the network and server infrastructure, conducting penetration tests, and improving IT security. In 2006, Stefan became a Senior Security Consultant for SEC Consult Unternehmensberatung GmbH. In 2011, they co-founded SEC Consult Singapore Pte. Ltd. where they served as an Information Security Consultant. In 2014, they were appointed CTO and Principal Security Consultant/Director at Vantage Point Security Pte. Ltd. In 2017, they assumed the role of Chief Technology Officer at Numisec. Most recently, in 2018, they founded GuardRails, where they serve as CEO and Founder.

Stefan Streichsbier's education history includes a BSc. in Computer & Information Security from the University of Applied Sciences Hagenberg, which they obtained between 2003 and 2006. Prior to that, they attended St. Ursula High School. Stefan also holds several certifications, including a Certified DevSecOps Engineer from the DevOps Institute obtained in February 2019, a Certified DevOps Foundation from the DevOps Institute obtained in September 2018, a Managing the Company of the Future from Coursera Verified Certificates obtained in March 2015, a CREST Practitioner Security Analyst (CPSA) from CREST obtained in February 2017, a CREST Registered Penetration Tester (CRT) from CREST obtained in September 2016, and a CISSP from (ISC)2 obtained in June 2012.
