Richard Vallejo (MBA, MS)

Richard Vallejo (MBA, MS) has worked in Information Security and Professional Development since 2019. At GuardSight, Inc., they served as Director, where they orchestrated and led SOC 2 Type 2 audit and compliance, developed and implemented a cybersecurity apprenticeship program, and established and reinforced the soft and hard skills of team members through professional development programs. In 2019, they were also Senior Security Analyst at the National Football League (NFL), where they led and managed Security Operations analysts, facilitated the fusion and collaboration of Cyber Security Operations and Physical Security Operations, and prepared and delivered technology presentations to strategic, technical, and business committees and partners.

Richard Vallejo has a B.S. in Security and Risk Analysis with an emphasis in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Penn State University. Richard then went on to obtain their Master of Business Administration from Southern Utah University and their Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University. Richard also holds various certifications, including Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) and CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA, and an NSA Certificate of Achievement from CNSS • Committee on National Security Systems.
