Brecht Coenen

Brecht Coenen started their work experience in 2017 as an Accounts Payable Accountant at EY. Brecht then worked as a Restaurant and Bar Waiter at Den Domus from November 2018 to April 2019. Following this, Brecht worked as a Waiter for Cunard Cruiseline from May 2019 to November 2019. Currently, they are employed at Guardsquare as an AR Accountant. In this role, they are responsible for generating invoices, communicating with various teams, managing outstanding invoices and payments, implementing credit collection processes, generating reports, and ensuring AR accounting accuracy.

Brecht Coenen holds a Master's Degree in Business/Managerial Economics from KU Leuven, which they completed in the years 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Managerial Economics from UHasselt, studying from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, in March 2019, Brecht obtained a certification in Standards of Training, Certification of Watchkeeping for seafarers from AFZ Aus- und Fortbildungszentrum Rostock GmbH.
