Maqsood Ahmad has extensive experience in the field of security and mobile computing, currently serving as a Security Researcher and Software Engineer at GuardSquare since April 2018, specializing in mobile application protection for a global clientele. Previously, Maqsood held postdoctoral researcher positions at Royal Holloway, University of London, and Università degli Studi di Trento, as well as a visiting scholar role at KU Leuven. Early career roles include lecturing at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology and DCSE UET Peshawar, and serving as a computer engineer at GIKI. Maqsood's academic background includes a PhD in ICT - Mobile Security from Università di Trento, as well as master's degrees in Security and Mobile Computing from both the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and KTH Royal Institute of Technology, complemented by a BSc in Computer Systems Engineering from NWFP UET Peshawar.
