Veerle Theunissen

Veerle Theunissen is an experienced HR professional currently serving as Head of HR & Talent at Guardsquare since March 2019, following a tenure as HR & Office Manager for Belgium. Prior experience includes serving as HR / Executive Assistant to the President at WABCO from October 2016 to March 2019, and as Executive Support Manager for BeNeLux at Accenture between March 2007 and September 2016. Veerle's career began as a Communications Officer at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and includes a role as a Recruiting Consultant at Akka Technologies. Veerle holds a Master’s degree in Communication and Media Studies and a Postgraduate Degree in Meertalige Bedrijfscommunicatie from KU Leuven, and completed preparatory scientific education at Bernardinuscollege in Heerlen, Netherlands.
