Colin James

Colin James has extensive work experience in various roles related to healthcare information technology. Colin is currently serving as the Senior Director of Digital Health and Information Technology at Guelph General Hospital since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Training Officer in the Canadian Forces - Cadet Instructors Cadre. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Consultant at Healthtech Consultants. Colin also has experience working at William Osler Health System, where they held positions such as Manager of Information Systems Applications, Team Lead of Diagnostic Imaging, and Systems Analyst. Before joining William Osler, they worked as a Systems Analyst at Credit Valley Hospital and as a Senior Business Analyst at Canada Life. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in managing systems, leading projects, and providing support for various healthcare applications.

Colin James pursued a Health Services Management Certificate at Ryerson University, which they completed in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Project Management Fundamentals degree from McMaster University in 2012. In 1996, Colin James also received a Network Specialist degree from CDI College. In addition to their formal education, they earned a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from Lean Six Sigma Institute LLC in 2015 and an ITIL v3 Foundations certification from ITIL in 2010.
