Sly Castaldi has extensive experience in the field of crisis support and community development, currently serving as Executive Director of Guelph-Wellington Women In Crisis since October 2004. Prior to this role, Sly held positions such as Assistant Executive Director, Coordinator of Community Relations and Administration, and Family Support Worker within the same organization, contributing to various aspects of management and direct support services for individuals experiencing abuse. Sly also provided leadership on sexual violence services at Guelph General Hospital and served as a Sexual Assault Educational Consultant at the University of Guelph, advising on preventative strategies related to sexual violence. Sly holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from the University of Guelph, obtained in 1986.

Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis is a community-based feminist organization providing services on intimate partner violence, sexual violence and human trafficking to women and their children in Guelph and Wellington County. We believe our services must be inclusive and equitable for all individuals accessing our programs while being responsive to issues of race, gender, religion, age, sexual orientation, socio-economic status and/or abilities. Our programs: * Marianne’s Place (emergency accessible shelter) * Rural Women’s Support Program (RWSP) * Sexual Assault Centre (SAC) * Transitional and Housing Support Program (THSP) * 24-hour Crisis Line * Anti-Human Trafficking Program * Public Education and Prevention * Volunteer Program There are no fees for any G-W Women in Crisis services.
