Joseph Sam has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Joseph started their career as an Infantryman in the United States Marine Corps, where they served as an infantry Squad Leader, conducting combat operations in the Middle East. Joseph then worked as a Security Guard at Main Street Bistro before becoming a Rudder fabricator at Rudder Craft Inc. Joseph also held positions as a Route Driver, Maintenance, and Record keeping employee at Gem State Oil Services Inc., and as a Maintenance Technician at Outback Pool & Spa Company. Joseph later worked as a Preventative Maintenance worker at Boise State University and as a Protective Security Specialist at Triple Canopy. Joseph is currently employed as a Project Engineer at GUERDON Modular Buildings.

Joseph Sam has a strong educational background in Mechanical Engineering. Joseph attended Boise State University from 2009 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, from 2009 to 2015, they also obtained an Associates of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university.

In terms of additional certifications, Joseph Sam obtained two certifications from Procore Technologies in March 2020. Joseph is certified as a Procore Architect and a Procore Engineer.
