Barbara Bettke is a seasoned professional in import and export management with over 30 years of experience. Currently serving as the Customs & Compliance Manager at Guess ? Inc since September 2000, Barbara oversees the daily operations of the Import Compliance Department, facilitating an average of over 7,900 imports into North America annually. Notable achievements include initiating process improvements that enhance the efficiency of tariff number classification and the implementation of pre-class programs. Previously, at Imperial Toy from November 1998 to September 2000, Barbara held the position of Import Manager and Assistant to the Vice President and Chief of Operations, where responsibilities included managing production timelines and securing exclusive brand contracts. Earlier experience as an Export Manager at Packard Bell from March 1989 to January 1994 further solidified Barbara's expertise in the field.
