Derek Chan

Derek Chan is an experienced cost accountant with a solid background in financial analysis and reporting. Currently at GUESS?, Inc. since October 2019, responsibilities include cost analysis for business activities, preparing reports on manufacturing costs, and performing month-end close entries. Previously, Derek held positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where overcharged sales tax payments were identified, and Argyle Prestige Meats Limited, where financial reporting and internal controls were developed. Early career experiences include roles as an accounts assistant at INTO University Partnerships and The International Montessori School, as well as an accounting officer at English Schools Foundation. Derek holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from California State University, Northridge.
