Allegra Thoresen

Allegra Thoresen currently serves as the Senior Director of Communications and PR at Guggenheim New York since April 2025. Prior to this role, Allegra was the Director of Communications at The Juilliard School from January 2023 to March 2025. Allegra has extensive experience in communications and marketing, having held multiple positions at Public Art Fund between March 2017 and December 2022, including Director of Communications & Marketing, Director of Communications, Associate Director of Communications, and Senior Communications Manager. Earlier career endeavors include roles at SUTTON as a Senior Account Executive and Account Executive, as well as a Gallery Coordinator at Di Donna Galleries. Further experience includes positions at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, Whitney Museum of American Art, and The Peggy Guggenheim Collection. Allegra holds a B.A. in Art History, Italian, and Dance from Connecticut College (2006-2010) and is currently pursuing Strategic Planning for Marketers at New York University.
