Sorin Lazea

Sorin Lazea is a seasoned technical professional with extensive experience in mechanical design and engineering. Since May 2015, Sorin has served as a Technical Lead at Guhring, Inc., providing technical guidance to the design team, offering support for various product categories, and training new employees on technological updates. Previously, Sorin held the position of Mechanical Design Engineer at Guhring, where responsibilities included customizing designs for PCD tools and communicating with production sites in Germany. Prior experience includes a Mechanical Design Engineer role at Emerson Process Management, where Sorin focused on product design development and engineering support across multiple projects, as well as a research scholarship involving the modeling of industrial regulators. Sorin holds a Master's Degree in Engineering and Competitive Manufacturing and a Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the Technical University of Cluj Napoca.
