Clarissa Leal-Matthews has extensive experience in the mortgage industry, currently serving as an Underwriter at Guidance Residential since August 2020. Previously, Clarissa worked at First Guaranty Mortgage Corporation® from August 2015 to August 2017 as a Construction Renovation - Retail Liaison, where responsibilities included processing various loan types such as FHA, VA, and USDA loans, and managing a pipeline of 30-40 loans using Encompass 360 software. Clarissa's career at Guidance Residential began in 2005, progressing from a Pre-Processor to a Junior Underwriter/Loan Processor, gaining significant expertise in loan processing and underwriting operations. Clarissa completed education at Herndon High School.
