Chris Casey

Chris Casey is the VP of Engineering at Guidebook. Prior to joining Guidebook, Chris was with TrustArc, where they served as Engineering Manager and Senior Technical Team Lead. At TrustArc, Chris was responsible for kicking off several teams and projects from scratch, working on infrastructure, managing people and making sure things got shipped.

Before TrustArc, Chris was with Forio where they worked as a software engineer. Their role there was to develop intuitive new features, provide back end support and build internal tools for use by the front end team. Forio utilized open source tools and technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, Tomcat, Velocity, Java, jQuery, CoffeeScript, LESS, and MySQL.

Prior to Forio, Chris worked as a software engineer at RooftopComedy from 2006-2010.

Chris Casey has a Master of Science in Web Sciences from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from San Francisco State University.

They work with Kiffany Gardner - Manager, Finance & Operations, Ryan Sanders - Product Designer. Chris Casey reports to Pete Banks, President, Technology. Kevin Chang - Staff Software Engineer, Dan Lyon - Manager, Infrastructure, and Ciara Goetze - Software Engineer–Web report to Chris Casey.
