Megan Petkovic

Megan Petkovic is a Marine Science Instructor at Guided Discoveries, with experience in teaching marine biology, oceanography, and environmental stewardship in outdoor settings. Throughout a career spanning over a decade, Megan has led youth in various outdoor activities and contributed to the care of aquarium animals. Previous roles include Summer Instructor at Catalina Island Marine Institute, where education about coastal sea creatures was a focus, and Ride Operator at Knott's Berry Farm, managing ride safety. Event planning experience includes organizing a TEDx event at UCSB, along with internship work leading educational activities about environmental health for younger students. Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and English from UC Santa Barbara.
