Austin Cooley has a solid background in technology and entrepreneurship. Austin is the current CTO and Co-founder of Guide, a Candidate Experience Platform that helps organizations enhance their candidate experience and attract top talent. Prior to Guide, Austin was the Co-founder and CTO of Resource - Modern Recruiting, a company that was acquired by Gem.
Austin also has experience in the travel industry, as the Co-founder and CEO of Tripstr. Austin played a pivotal role in product management, UX design, and backend and frontend development for the Tripstr iPhone app. Austin successfully reduced server costs by 75% by implementing containerization and switching to Google Cloud Platform.
Before Tripstr, Austin co-founded Quilt, where they served as the CEO and Co-founder. Austin was also responsible for product management during their time at the company. Prior to Quilt, Austin was the Co-founder and CEO of Youtorial, Inc., a web-based software training platform. Austin led the design of the Youtorial Player and managed monetization efforts, resulting in significant revenue growth. Austin was also a participant in the Kauffman Ed Tech Ventures program.
Austin's career began as a Software Engineer Associate at Lockheed Martin, where they gained valuable experience in software development.
Austin Cooley obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering between 2004 and 2009.
