Andreas Hermelink

Andreas Hermelink is a University Lecturer at Technische Universität Berlin, focusing on building policies and sustainability within the MBA course 'Building Sustainability' since July 2024. Previously, Andreas served as a Director at Guidehouse since November 2019, and also held director and associate director roles at Navigant and Ecofys, where projects included managing key initiatives on energy performance of buildings for the German government and the European Commission. Andreas's earlier experience includes a research manager position at the University of Central Florida's Florida Solar Energy Center and a senior researcher role at the University of Kassel, where significant contributions were made to environmental life-cycle assessments and the development of Passive Houses, winning multiple awards. Educational qualifications consist of a Dr.-Ing. in Technology Assessment and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Civil Engineering from the University of Kassel, as well as an MBA from the University of Stuttgart.
