Isabel Band

Isabel Band, MPA, currently serves as a Managing Consultant at Guidehouse, leading cross-functional teams to support Federal government clients in various areas, including risk management and evidence-based decision making. Prior to Guidehouse, Isabel worked at the US Government Accountability Office as a Senior Analyst specializing in immigration, where expertise in immigration detention and program evaluation methodologies was demonstrated. Previous roles included serving as a Project Consultant at the Cornell Institute for Public Affairs, where guidance was provided to public and nonprofit organizations, and teaching special education at both Teach For America and Kansas City Public Schools. Academic qualifications include a Master’s of Public Administration from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with additional studies in English Literature at King's College London.
