Nathan Banion

Nathan Banion is an experienced data analyst and consultant with a strong background in leveraging data to inform public policy and operational improvements. At ICF from November 2015 to January 2021, Nathan served as a Senior Research Data Analyst, where efforts included engineering survey data to support Federal health policy and developing a Python application that significantly reduced survey implementation time. Currently, as a Managing Data Science Consultant at Guidehouse since January 2021, Nathan leads technical teams to analyze extensive health care records, impacting Veterans Affairs operations and contributing to congressional recommendations for facility modernization. Nathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Earth Systems, Environment, and Society from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Public Affairs in Quantitative Policy Analysis from Indiana University Bloomington, along with continuous learning in Data Science through MIT OpenCourseWare.
