Sam Burnstein

Sam Burnstein is a consultant at Guidehouse since July 2023, with prior experience as an associate at Boston Consulting Group from March 2022 to July 2023 and as a government affairs intern at Cassidy & Associates. Sam co-founded and served as vice president of Michigan Political Consulting, the largest political consulting group at the University of Michigan, overseeing a team of 45 and managing various projects for local, state, and national clients. Additional roles include project management for environmental policy research and campaign fundraising for the City of Ann Arbor and appointment to the Elizabeth Dean Fund Committee by Mayor Christopher Taylor. Sam also held positions as an undergraduate liaison at Margolis, Gallagher, & Cross and as a legislative intern for Representative Donna Lasinski. Sam earned a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Political Science and Environment from the University of Michigan and holds an International Baccalaureate diploma from Washtenaw International High School.
