Paul Keener

Paul Keener is a seasoned cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Field CISO at GuidePoint Security in the Southwest Region. With a strong military background, Paul held various leadership roles including an Operations Officer, Communications Officer, and Cyber Developmental Test & Evaluation Lead within the Marine Corps. They have also served as the SVP and Head of Cybersecurity Operations at City National Bank. In addition to their industry experience, Paul is an Adjunct Professor for the Masters of Science in Cybersecurity Operations and Leadership at the University of San Diego and is a Cybersecurity Advisory Board Member at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. Paul holds a Master's degree in Military Studies from Marine Corps University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of California, San Diego.
