Ian Chmar

Ian Chmar is the Head of Strategic Finance at Guidewheel, a position held since December 2024. Previously, Ian Chmar contributed to Samsara as part of the GTM Finance & Strategy team, where enhancements to the ARR forecasting process were implemented. Ian Chmar also worked at Peak Land Services - NC, focusing on business development, significantly increasing revenue during a six-month tenure. Prior experience includes a substantial role at Box, where Ian Chmar held various positions in Strategic Finance, influencing compensation structures for sales teams and leading strategic initiatives that boosted revenue and improved retention. Earlier career experience includes several roles at Accenture in strategy consulting. Ian Chmar graduated from Rice University with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, complemented by a Business Minor.
