Soumitra Ghosh

Soumitra Ghosh currently serves as VP of Cloud Infrastructure at Guidewire Software, focusing on emerging architecture for large language models, embedding models, vector databases, orchestration, and data pipelines. Previous experience includes cloud consulting for startups and private equity, where cloud infrastructure was built using Kubernetes and Docker, as well as significant leadership roles at Driscoll's, where a transformation to cloud and infrastructure as a service was spearheaded. Ghosh also led various IT initiatives at Electronic Arts, managing online infrastructure, security programs, and transitioning to open-source technologies. Earlier roles include Director of Technology Engineering at Qwest CyberSolutions and Director of Technology at MCI.
