Kate Rose is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in developing scalable applications and microservices in various environments. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer at Guild Education since May 2018, Kate has previously held several senior software engineering roles, including at Under Armour, where significant contributions included developing Golang microservices, integration of third-party data, and a unified notifications system. Earlier experience includes work at MapMyFitness, QualVu, Thomson Reuters, and CIVX, where diverse skills in backend development, API design, and product support were cultivated. Kate holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Exercise Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
