Osayame Gaius-Obaseki

Osayame Gaius-Obaseki is an accomplished technology leader with a robust background in engineering and entrepreneurship. As the Founder and CEO of Parrot since 2020, Osayame successfully scaled the business to $3 million in annual gross revenue and achieved a $10 million valuation, securing seed investment from Harlem Capital and UpFront Ventures. Previously, Osayame served as VP of Engineering at BlackRock, leading a team focused on creating APIs for the Aladdin Platform, and as Engineering Lead at MailChimp, overseeing multiple Agile teams in developing a payments platform and website builder. Prior experiences include senior software engineering roles at Luma and Cardlytics, with expertise in full-stack development and agile methodologies. Osayame holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of West Georgia.
