Dr. Kimberly K. Steinke

Dr. Kimberly K. Steinke currently serves as Chief Officer for Exceptional Children and Student Services at Guilford County Schools, with prior roles including Interim Chief Student Services Officer and Assistant Superintendent. From January 2016 to October 2020, Dr. Steinke held the position of Assistant Superintendent at Polk County School Board. A long tenure at Orange County Public Schools spanned from 1993 to 2015, where Dr. Steinke progressed through various roles, including Senior Director of Exceptional Student Education Services and Director of Exceptional Student Education. Dr. Steinke earned an Education Doctorate in Urban Special Education Leadership, a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership, and a Bachelors of Science in Specific Learning Disabilities from the University of Central Florida.
